Arun Kumar R A is a passionate leader with over 12 years of experience in the IT industry. He has diversified exposure in Middleware/Production Support, DevOps, CI/CD Pipeline, and Release & Project Management. Arun has been driving business Interface Projects right from client requirement gathering, planning & scoping, project budget estimation, and executing each phase of the project with various releases. He has comprehensive working experience and hands-on with WAS/WCS, Docker, Kubernetes cluster on Amazon Web Services (AWS Cloud). Arun has been part of the core SME’s team in infrastructure costing, scoping, and implementation in AWS cloud. He has been leading the CCM process along with Release Manager Roles for smooth and minimal downtime production deployments. Currently, Arun is working as a Manager II- Engineering at Walmart. In his previous roles, Arun worked as a Technical Project Manager at TCS, where he drove business Interface Projects (Retail/ecommerce) and upskilled team members with on par industry standards technologies. He also worked as an Assistant Consultant -DevOps Technical Lead at TCS, where he managed the DevOps / AWS Infra Support for HCL Version 9. Arun was responsible for 100% uptime of the application with no service impact to customers with ZERO DOWNTIME. He was responsible for aligning team members with the scope of work and assigning daily task/activity. Arun was also responsible for Production Deployment/Production Release & Hot fixes with CI/CD pipeline using docker & Kubernetes. Arun has a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree from Mahendra College of Engineering, India, and completed his Matriculation from Holy Cross. He possesses expertise in AWS, DevOps, infra, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker, Web, and is a Senior Software Engineer. Arun has 11.02 years of relevant experience in the IT industry.
